Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?
No. You can arrive with a clear goal, a knot of questions, or simply a sense that something needs attention. We can find a starting place together.
What is your approach to therapy?
My approach is collaborative and conversational, drawing on narrative therapy, ACT, and IFS-informed ideas. We combine reflection with practical strategies that fit your life.
Can we talk about access needs?
Yes. We can discuss energy, sensory needs, communication preferences, and other factors that would help you participate in therapy. You are welcome to bring these up at any point.
Is this an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ people?
Yes. Gender, sexuality, and diverse relationship structures are welcome parts of the conversation. You do not need to explain or defend your identity to deserve care.
Will I need to explain polyamory or kink?
You don’t need to teach me the basics of polyamory, consensual kink, or alternative relationships, or defend them to receive care. I’m familiar with these experiences and will stay curious about what they mean in your particular life.
What happens in a first session?
We’ll talk about how therapy works, what brings you here, and what you hope for. There is room for questions, pauses, and deciding together what to focus on.
How much does a session cost?
My full session fee is $150. I also accept sliding scale fees; please get in touch to discuss your circumstances. I accept the insurance plans listed above. Please verify your specific plan’s coverage and your cost before scheduling.
